Maurice E. Bone
Maury Bone was born and raised the Metro-East area of St. Clair County. He attended Washington University and St. Louis University for his undergraduate education and earned his doctor of laws degree at St. Louis University School of Law.He has served in the U.S. Air Force as a combat pilot and military lawyer, both on active duty and in the Reserves.
Mr. Bone is a former President of the 32,000 member Illinois State Bar Association. He has served on the Board of Governors of the State Bar Association from 1984-1991.
He also served as President of the Illinois Bar Foundation in 1983-84 and was a member of the Board of Directors from 1978-86. He is a Fellow of the Illinois Bar Foundation and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
Mr. Bone is a past president as well as a member of the St. Clair County Bar Association and a former member of the Board of Managers of the Illinois Trial Lawyers of America.
He concentrates his practice in tort litigation and real estate. He has lectured and published articles on trial practice.
Mr. Bone is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Magna Bank, N.A., and the Magna Trust Company.
He is married and the father of four sons.
